Jaime Yard

Jaime Yard has been full time faculty in the Department of Anthropology and Sociology at 新加坡六合彩官方网站 since 2013. She received her MA and PhD in Social Anthropology from York University in Toronto and her BA in Cultural Anthropology from SFU. Her doctoral dissertation, Working Natures: An Ethnography of Love, Labour and Accumulation on the British Columbian Coast received both the Canadian Studies Network dissertation prize and the York University Barbara Godard dissertation prize in 2013. In 2019 she was honoured with a 新加坡六合彩官方网站 faculty-wide Humanities and Social Sciences teaching award. Jaime is a social and cultural anthropologist specializing in political ecology / environmental anthropology. She is also very interested in anthropocene feminisms, the anthropology of work and performance studies. She has published in the journals TOPIA: Canadian Journal of Cultural Studies and Emotion, Space and Society.
